I recently started playing Pokemon Crystal again after a long, long time, and it left me wanting to redraw some of the sprites! Part research for the video game I'd like to make, and part nostalgia. When I first played it (it was one of my first video games) I didn't see how cute and iconic the NPC characters were! And I also realized that the battle portraits do NOT match the overworld sprites very much at all!!!!!!!! Led to some confusion and compromise, you can see a more faithful alt. for the twins in the booru!
