b carefule..... I think technically it's not allowed, but there's too many people for them to go around checking. Most established lole artists use fanbox as payment, but host their art elsewhere, like a shared drive or a discord server

Apparently Pixiv has been clamping down on even having links to rule-breaking images. I stopped linking my Baraag in Pixiv posts just in case. But we're talking about Fanbox, right? I don't see why you'd link to Baraag from paywall because Baraag posts are publicly accessible anyway. Nothing is risk-free, but the safest thing to do is use Fanbox to sell access to a password protected folder, and give the password to people you can verify via email or discord. Personally, I just got lazy and my Fanbox gives access to a drive with no password protection. I'm small-time so it's very unlikely any Pixiv staff is going to open my drive to see that it breaks Fanbox rules.

if i understand the rules correctly from my readings, it would seem as long as you're not creating realistic depictions its fine, so anime art is ok i guess? but i am also trying to keep imagery out of the thumbnails that is pornographic, and obeying the censorship rules heavily too. seems like most of the bigger artists are doing ok and haven't been bothered if they're following these rules at least i think, but maybe some are using password protection as well. i've also heard things like avoiding hashtags and stuff.

I mean I would never paywall anything without making it easy to pirate, that'd be pretty hypocritical. it's just a way to encourage donations. It is weird Pixiv doesn't enforce evenly, but I'm told it depends which country your bank's in? Whatever. People are going to enforce random rules at random, there's no goddamn pattern.

yeye, i don't really mind piracy of my works tbh, i'll prob post all of them around a month after the fact anyways, maybe a little bit longer in some cases but sites like VB are sometimes the only place you can get my images full resolution and uncensored anyways
