It's still within the 12 days of Christmas so it counts!! How was it for you all?
Hachikuji Mayoi! Such a nostalgic feeling character, she is probably my favorite heroine of the Monogatari series for the lively banter in her scenes and the sense of humanity in her personality. From absurd moments to guiding the immature main character, it's never a dull moment! Being one of the sanest AND cutest girls in the show certainly helps too! Karen would be tied or a close second, but it's really tough to choose when they all have a lot of merits.
I thought to myself and realized, for all the wacky color combinations anime has, it doesn't very often cover albinism! I had the fortune to run across a handful of people with it over the course of my life, and remembering that led to this! The umbrella is a mild reference to the caution that has to be taken with sun exposure, and the classic Japanese sharing-an-umbrella love thing. Hope you all enjoy!
For this comic, I wanted to make a very rough sketch of some kind of fairy tale story and practice that, but it could certainly use a part 2! Hope you all find it entertaining! I have to say, all the isekai and so on genre of manga manage to lack what I'd like to see or consider natural (or are all untranslated), so I'd like to make something big to compete someday.
